Hull Wedding Photographer

Contempory, Natural & Creative Wedding Photography

My name is Abraham and I’m a Hull Wedding Photographer. I cover Hull, East Yorkshire and beyond. I love photography and it is a real privilege to photograph weddings, especially since we have some amazing venues in this part of the country. I often am asked to photograph in nearby towns to Hull including; Beverley, Driffield and Bridlington.

I want to start by saying thank you for visiting my website. I’m sure by now your plans are in full swing and you are getting excited about your wedding day. Let me take away some of the stress. By now you have seen my photos and you are still here so that must mean you are considering choosing me as your Hull wedding photographer. I can help you remember your special day by producing memories that you can treasure for the rest of your life. If you want a stress-free and professional experience, you should choose Abraham Photography.

Why hire a Hull Wedding Photographer?

If you’re still on the fence about wedding photographers, that’s not a problem. Many people don’t recognise the true value of wedding photography until it’s too late. A photographer at your wedding has a simple mission: to capture every moment of the day and allow you to relive the whole experience.

A professional, qualified wedding photographer like myself will be able to capture photos that elicit strong emotions from you when you view them later. You should be transported back in time and feel all of the feelings you did on your wedding day.

You already did so much work planning every detail of your wedding. A photographer helps to capture and preserve all the little details, the venue layout and the decorations. It’s a nice way to show how much work you put into planning the perfect event.

It’s also worth mentioning that there are no do-overs when it comes to choosing a wedding photographer. You can’t change your mind and pick someone else after the wedding starts. You need to make sure you pick the right East Yorkshire wedding photographer.

How to choose the right Hull Wedding Photographer

There are a few major keys when it comes to picking a Hull wedding photographer. The biggest one is that they should know their way around a camera. First and foremost, they should be a professional wedding photographer. Going for a hobbyist or a friend with a camera is a choice some make but I cannot recommend. There are so many techniques an moments to capture that we need to be in the right place at the right time and that is what expertise brings.

You need to make sure that your choice is reliable. Nothing will make your stomach drop faster than a photographer who runs late to your wedding.

Lastly, you should consider the photographer’s personality. Remember, they’re going to be hanging out with you guys for the entire day. I am fun and easy going and ready to be part of your wedding day relating well with all your family and guests.

For a professional, reliable, and personable option, you can pick Abraham Photography as your Hull Wedding Photographer.

What to Expect from your Wedding Photography

At the very least, your Hull wedding photographer should expertly capture every moment of your big day. If you choose me, I’ll blend in with the background and take constant pictures of the day.  I’ll keep everyone laughing, smiling, and dancing as I make my way around the venue. I’m not here to steal the show from the lovely couple, I’m here to enhance and eternalise the event as I capture the full story of your wedding day.

What Does Your Schedule Look Like?

My schedule is pretty predictable and it revolves around you. I will discuss my schedule in more detail when you give me a call or shoot me an email.

In general, I like to arrive around 2 or 3 hours early. This gives me enough time to capture some great pictures of the details and the bridal preparation, but also the landscape, and the wedding venues. These are usually the “still before the storm” photos as all the nerves and excitement kicks in and you prepare to walk down the aisle.

During this time, I’ll also get to know everyone in the party. When I understand the unique personalities, I can better tailor the photography to capture these personalities. Knowing that one of your friends is the goofy one will prepare me to take some fun pictures of them, for example.

We’ll discuss any big surprises that are planned during the day, and what your schedule looks like so I will always be in the right place at the right time. Depending on your choice of package, I can be there right into the evening celebrations or just up to the first dance.

What Do You Get from Abraham Photography?

I have a few different packages that you can choose from. I understand that everyone has special requests and needs, so I try my best to meet every specification you set out. You’ll get one or two wedding photographers that capture the entire event for you. As far as the pictures, you can expect to see:

Fun and natural photos of you as a couple

Plenty of candid shots

Group shots if you choose them

Shots of the wedding venues

Pictures of the details in your wedding (decor, catering, centrepieces)

Evening celebrations

My twilight photography is one of the things that makes me stand out as a photographer and gives couples some unique WOW photos. I always include a twilight photoshoot in my full day wedding packages and the great thing is, it doesn’t need to be too dark or dry for me to do this so I can capture some stunning moments that can be displayed on your wall or in your album.

Talking about albums, each of my full day wedding packages come with a beautiful handcrafted Italian storybook wedding photography album. These are stunning and you can view my pricing page to see some examples or why not visit my studio on Cottingham Road to have a look at my sample albums and choose me as your Hull Wedding Photographer?

My Wedding Photography Style

Every Hull Wedding photographer has a certain style that they take their pictures in. For me, I prefer taking high-quality pictures that tell the wedding story. My style is classified as contemporary, natural and also creative. I aim to capture the story of your day in a documentary way, allowing you as a couple to feel relaxed and enjoy your wedding day. My couple shoots are often done in a natural and fun way and my twilight photography uses flash techniques which allow me to get creative.

My style because paints a wonderful picture of how your wedding day. As you look through your photos in your wedding album, you’ll be taken on a journey that recounts every moment of your wedding. Even the smallest moments that you hardly remember will be eternalised through my work. That’s why I do what I do. I want you to revisit these photos years or decades down the line and laugh, cry, and smile. In a way, these photos are going to be little time machines that take you back to the exact moment you’re viewing.

Here are a selection of my photos from various weddings, you can view more in my gallery.

FAQs for your Hull Wedding Photographer

There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the amount you should spend on a wedding photographer will vary depending on your couple’s specific needs and preferences. However, a reasonable estimate for wedding photography costs in the UK would range from £1,000 to £2,500. This amount may change depending on the location, type of photography ( posed or candid ), and number of photos that are taken. It is also important to remember that these are just estimates – costs may actually be higher or lower depending on your specific needs and circumstances. It is a good idea to chat with a wedding photographer before making any final decisions about budgeting. Let me know if you have any questions.

Seven hours of coverage is generally not enough to document a full wedding day in North Yorkshire. Most wedding ceremonies are 1 pm or 2 pm which means the wedding photographer would start bridal preparations around 11am. If the cutting of the cake and first dance is 8pm, then you would need 10 hours of coverage for the day.

Hiring a wedding photographer is a worthwhile investment with 87% of UK couples choosing to hire a professional. It’s an ideal way to preserve memories of one of the most important days of their lives. You’ll get high-quality images that capture a wedding day’s special moments, emotions, and details. Take a look at my wedding portfolio to see images from previous weddings.

I know that you’re going to be really eager to get your photos back. Not to worry, I expedite the process to get the photos to you. It takes a little bit of time to sort through the photos and get rid of pictures where people are blinking that you don’t want to see. Additionally, I fully edit each picture to ensure my style remains consistent. With that being said, you can expect to see your photos within 3 to 4 weeks of your wedding but it can usually be faster than that.

Remember, you can’t rush perfection!
