Are you looking for an East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer?
As your big day approaches, it is one of the most exciting times of your life as you build up to your wedding. There are so many things to worry about and stress over, so to help you with picking the right East Yorkshire wedding photographer, choose Abraham Photography and be assured that I will capture all the moments from your special day so you can relive your wedding for the rest of your life.
Why would you hire an East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer?
A good photographer will leave you with pictures that capture the story of your big day. You’ll be able to look through your gorgeous photographs and relive all the joy and emotion again and again.
One of the only tangible reminders of your wedding day is your wedding photography and so hiring wedding photographers gives you reminders of your wedding day and all the fun you had that day. It also helps to bring that constant reminder of all the planning that went into your wedding. What good is your centrepiece selection if there’s no photo of it?
You already spent so much time planning every detail of your wedding, you might as well hire the right person to capture the event. If you choose Abraham Photography, you can be sure that I will be with you from start to finish and all your special moments are captured.
Choosing the Right East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer
There are certain skills and equipment that you should look for when you’re choosing an East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer. Choosing a friend of a friend who happens to have a camera rarely works out in the end. Remember, you only have one shot at picking the right photographer – it’s not like you can just redo your wedding because you had the wrong photographer.
The right photographer has the right equipment. They’re someone who is comfortable at weddings and can blend into the background while capturing the moments. You don’t want your night to revolve around a photographer, after all.
For you, you’ll probably want to pick a photographer that has direct experience capturing weddings. You might not realise it, but photographing landscapes or portraits is completely different from the expertise you need to capture a wedding. That’s why I would never suggest going with someone who doesn’t have a wedding photography section in their portfolio.
Why not choose Abraham Photography. I know how special this day is to you and that’s why I take my work so seriously. There’s a lot riding on my photography skills, and I’m up to the challenge. I bring all of the equipment that I need, you just need to bring your smiling faces.
I always make it fun, though. I’m a huge fan of weddings and I’m passionate about photography, so combining these two is a dream come true for me.
What to Expect from Your East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer
A professional photographer should be able to capture the spontaneous moments of the your day. My aim is to do this in a contemporary telling your unique love story in a natural way. I also get creative and produce some stunning twilight photography that gives that real WOW factor. Your photographer should highlight the bride and groom and really produce some memorable photos.
Full day photographers usually show up at the very beginning of your wedding day for the bridal preparations and take photos of all the details and capture some beautiful getting ready photos, some gorgeous shots of the wedding venues before it fills with people and then through the rest of your day. All my full day wedding photography packages cover your wedding day and tell the story of your wedding day.

What Does the Schedule Look Like?
As part of my full day package, I’ll show up two or three hours before the ceremony. I’ll spend this time getting to know everyone at the party and taking some preparation shots. This is also gives me time to arrive at the venue before the brides arrival and capture different pictures of the wedding venues and the groom and his groomsmen as they arrive.
I want to make sure that every moment of your big day is recorded so that it can be put into your wedding album and you never forget it.
I’ve also found that getting to know members of your family and bridal party and their different personalities before the ceremony lets me capture the personalities during the wedding. It might not make sense to you now, but you’ll understand it once you see the final album!
I can be there throughout your full evening celebrations and photograph any big moments or just up to the first dance and let you enjoy the rest of the night!
What Do You Get from Abraham Photography?
If you choose Abraham Photography, all my full day wedding photography packages include a full day’s attendance from the bridal preparations through to the evening celebrations. You also receive a beautiful handcrafted Italian storybook wedding album which can be showed off and displayed as a keepsake and reminder of the best day of your life.

The Style of My Photos
In this industry, different photographers have different styles of the photos they take. That means that everyone has a different approach to weddings, and they’ll use different photography techniques to get different desired outcomes.
For me, I like to go for a natural, documentary-like, contemporary style. I like to view photography as a way of putting together a storybook of your wedding day. As you flick through the photos, you’ll be transformed back to the very moment and relive all the joy and emotion.
What does that mean for you? Every laugh, tear, “I love you”, and all the joy will be professionally captured by me so you can experience those emotions over and over again.
I will say, I love black and white photography and think it brings beauty and class into your photos, so you can be sure to see plenty of those in your gallery.
Below are some of my wedding photos for you to see my consistent style or view my gallery.

I’m based in Hull, East Yorkshire, but I will happily make the trip for your big day. Reach out to me and choose me as your East Yorkshire Wedding Photographer.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the amount you should spend on a wedding photographer will vary depending on your couple’s specific needs and preferences. However, a reasonable estimate for wedding photography costs in the UK would range from £1,000 to £2,500. This amount may change depending on the location, type of photography ( posed or candid ), and number of photos that are taken. It is also important to remember that these are just estimates – costs may actually be higher or lower depending on your specific needs and circumstances. It is a good idea to chat with a wedding photographer before making any final decisions about budgeting. Let me know if you have any questions.
Seven hours of coverage is generally not enough to document a full wedding day in North Yorkshire. Most wedding ceremonies are 1 pm or 2 pm which means the wedding photographer would start bridal preparations around 11am. If the cutting of the cake and first dance is 8pm, then you would need 10 hours of coverage for the day.
Hiring a wedding photographer is a worthwhile investment with 87% of UK couples choosing to hire a professional. It’s an ideal way to preserve memories of one of the most important days of their lives. You’ll get high-quality images that capture a wedding day’s special moments, emotions, and details. Take a look at my wedding portfolio to see images from previous weddings.
I know that you’re going to be really eager to get your photos back. Not to worry, I expedite the process to get the photos to you. It takes a little bit of time to sort through the photos and get rid of pictures where people are blinking that you don’t want to see. Additionally, I fully edit each picture to ensure my style remains consistent. With that being said, you can expect to see your photos within 3 to 4 weeks of your wedding but it can usually be faster than that.
Remember, you can’t rush perfection!
