Thanks so much for visiting my website. By now, you have probably viewed my gallery and packages, and I’m in your considerations for photographing your wedding day. That must mean you love my photography enough to stick around and find out more, so thank you!
I absolutely love weddings and seeing the joy and emotion that I get to experience when I am part of a couple’s special day. I love everything from the smallest of details to the most memorable moments, which is why I became a wedding photographer. I want to capture the complete story of your day and let you reminisce on those memories for a lifetime.
So why should you choose me as your wedding photographer?
I’ve already mentioned it; you are still here as you love my work enough to keep reading. Being a Yorkshire wedding photographer is a very privileged job, and I do not take lightly, I capture those special moments and produce memories of your wedding day. My style is unique, and during the day, I use natural light to produce some beautiful wedding photos. Then as the light fades, I use some carefully selected lighting techniques to capture some stunning twilight photos that will wow you and your guests. As this is the most precious day of your life, you want photos that will really capture that WOW, and hopefully you feel I can do that.
There are lots of different photography styles out there, with my wedding photography, I love to tell the story of your wedding day by capturing it in a contemporary way, using current and up to date photography techniques to photograph your day in a modern way. I do this naturally, not getting in the way or asking you to do lots of awkward posing. Hopefully, you’ll think I fit in just like a guest, and this will allow you to relax and let you worry about one less thing. Finally, I love to get creative, whether that is capturing your details in a cool way or by taking you to a location where you as a couple can be you while I capture your love.
Any wedding photographer can tell you they have experience and have photographed countless weddings, which is true, but really what you need to know is that you are not just a number. It is essential to me that I get to know you as a couple, what makes you tick, so from the moment we first chat, I love to remember what I learn about you both and what you love and this, in turn, helps me to capture your wedding day. You also have the option of booking a pre-wedding photoshoot where we can go to a location of your choice and capture your love as a couple.
I limit the number of weddings I do per year, not because I don’t get bookings but because I want to ensure I give my couples enough time and attention. I am part of the whole process of your wedding, and I don’t outsource anything, giving you confidence that I am with you from start to finish.
From the very start of your day while you are enjoying a glass of fizz with your family and friends, getting excited about walking down the aisle, I’ll be there to capture the small details whether it be your wedding rings, the family bracelet passed down from your grandma or the traditions of; ‘Something Old’, ‘Something New’, ‘Something Borrowed’ and ‘Something Blue’. I love beautifully photographing all these details whilst still capturing the memories of your first look with dad or that teary moment when you receive a card from your husband to be. All these details and moments are important and help tell the story of your wedding day and produce a beautiful wedding photography gallery.
I mentioned above that I love weddings, I really do, my own wedding was so important, and I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I chose my own photographer, and I knew I wanted quality, but most of all, I wanted someone who loved what they did and did it well. That is the inspiration that I took when starting as a wedding photographer; I wanted to show, love, care and delight in my photography and produce quality photographs for all my couples so that you have some wonderful and tangible memories to look back on and treasure. You can find out more about me here.
I hope that this helps you make your decision and I’d love to be part of your wedding day, but if you’d like a little bit more information, you can contact me to request my Yorkshire wedding photographer brochure or chat further about your photography requirements.
