All my full day wedding packages include attendance from the bridal preparations, through to the first dance.

This venue is a wedding photographers dream – there are so many picturesque settings in which to capture spectacular photos of your big day. As you first pass through the stone gateway, whose ornate pillars and wrought ironwork hints at the grandeur to come, you travel along an elegant tree-lined avenue before you first capture a glimpse of Carlton Towers – with its striking clock tower and immaculately manicured lawn, its front entrance is reached by broad stone steps upon which photographs of the happy couple will highlight the best features of the venue.

The opulence of each room provides a stunning backdrop upon which to capture your day – with interesting features throughout, there is always something to complement the beauty of you and your partner together. Many of the rooms also have large windows, allowing natural light to stream through and flatter your skin tone in photographs. Regardless of where you’d like to be photographed within the venue, the results will undoubtedly take your breath away.

Weddings at Carlton Towers

Set in 205 acres of parklands, Carlton Towers is a national hidden treasure that provides a fairy-tale location for an unforgettable wedding day. All the staterooms at Carlton Towers are licensed for weddings and each space provides a unique backdrop – the grand Venetian Drawing Room, for example, features opulent décor and a magnificent double-panelled oak door from which to make your entrance – with double-height windows and crystal chandeliers, it’s a stunning backdrop for up to 150 reception guests or up to 100 dinner guests. The Picture Gallery, meanwhile, allows you to wed in front of a wonderful collection of oil paintings and artworks alongside up to 200 people or 150 dinner guests. Alternatively, if you are seeking a more intimate ceremony, the Card Room is none the less stunning, with exquisite artistry and attention to detail fitting up to 30 guests or up to 24 for dinner.

Should you and your guests wish to stay overnight, the building itself can accommodate up to 31 guests. Each of their luxury bedrooms has been individually furnished and designed by Lady Gerald Fitzalan Howard to guarantee a tranquil haven away from the bustle of the modern world. The Baroness Tower bridal suite is a sight to behold too – it is a two-storey elegant space complete with a four-poster bed and opulent charm for the most romantic evening of your life.

History of Carlton Towers

The first house on the site of this land dates back to the fourteenth century, however, no trace of this remains. The Carlton Towers that emerges before you today is Victorian in appearance but has layers of an older house underneath. The three-storey block to the left of the main building, for example, is the original Jacobean Carlton Hall from 1614. Thomas Stapleton added the long wing on the right in 1777.

However, it was the 9th Lord Beaumont who is responsible for the Victorian beauty you see before you today – he had the house re-faced and added turrets, gargoyles, and battlements, leading Carlton Hall to become Carlton Towers! It’s this stunning exterior and exquisite interior that makes the venue a spectacular choice.
